Congratulations on a truly wonderful idea. I hope you will be able to help many good causes. Many people are concerned about privacy nowadays and some regimes are intent on monitoring internet use. I don't know how feasible it would be, but a clear statement that benelab.org does not record users ip information, etc (like startpage.com)may attract more users. Also, perhaps an SSL (HTTPS) option in time?Goaty's News will try to promote benelab.org from time to time.Well done!Goaty

Hi guys! I've been using the site for several months now, and I have some ideas about the charity system.
1. Plan in advance. Have the charities ready at least a week before the end of the month.
2. Make the goal "$X of TBA". That way, we can still see how much money we've raised.

Hello,We're truly sorry about not having a July cause yet!! Our team is actually working full-time on something new, and have been overwhelmed with the project. We will for sure have a new cause by the end of today, and we will take your advice into account.
We apologize and thanks so much for your patience!-Benelab Team

Hello,Unfortunately, from our knowledge, there currently is no way to add a separate search engine to Safari. Have you by any chance been able to add other search providers? Thanks!

Everyone, we got the problem fixed! Thanks for reporting the problem - we have no way of knowing these problems since our computers display the site fine all the time. Thanks!

I love using Benelab Search and Rescue, as it is a search engine with a cause, but it has not been working for the past 36 hours or so. It works by accepting the initial information, but that is as far as it goes, displaying no results after loading the page.

Hello,Yes, we have been getting reports of the search function not working for many people, and we are at this very moment trying to diagnose the problem and fix it. We should have it temporarily patched in a couple hours! Thanks for your patience!

Are you having problems. We have been having difficulties. Even before it seemed to stop working, going back when searching by page just went back to first page, making searching very slow. After awhile other Search Engines (some we've never heard of including one ending in "lab", pop up and ask if they can help. Hope everything is going ok, but don't want problems to cause people not to try you. Have a great summer.

Love what you are doing! Wanted to try it out. Searched Bean & Berry Louisville, CO. It didn't come up. Then I did it Bean and Berry and it came up, but it was Bean & Berry. Why? I don't get it.

Hmm... We think it might just be that special characters such as '&' are not processed correctly by the search platform. Does the term work on other search engines?

I am afraid Mr. Benelab is right. We are grateful to yahoo for providing us with a search that produces revenue but unfortunately there are some problems with their search engine such as speed and bad results.

If you are one safari or other non mainstream browser than I am afraid it is impossible to install a search plugin. You can still set benelab as your home page. If you are on Firefox, IE, or Chrome try clearing your cookies. Or if that dose not work try updating your browser to the latest version. Tell me if none of this works :)

We would like to thank the compassion in action demonstated by the non profit project Benelab for their donation of 20 wind up lanterns which will go to children who have no electricity in their homes. This will significantly enhance the children´s time to study after dark. It has been proven in other parts of the world that school grades improve and children´s education is enhanced by such measures.
It goes to show that everyone can do something to make the world a better place. Taking hands on action in large or small ways is always appreciated by those recipients who currently live on less than the cost of a fast food meal a day.
Take care my young friends. Live large and live deliberately.

Dear Benelab,
I'm not sure if you still need ideas for charities, but what about Papyrus? It's really good and for teenagers and adults.

Hello!
Yes, unfortunately we aren't able to set Google as our search engine because Yahoo is the only one that pays us for the ads. We will definitely try to speed the results up though!
